Bilingual Writing Expertise

Ronald van Erkel is a bilingual English/Dutch writer, translator, and editor with a distinguished career spanning literature, journalism, and publishing. Holding a degree in English-Dutch translation, he has translated several novels, including The Dancer and the Dance by Andrew Holleran, No More Walls by James Nelson, and The Beat by Simon Payne. His editorial expertise extends to architectural publications such as Wiederhall Architectural Series.

An experienced travel writer, Van Erkel has published extensively on destinations across the globe, including Rio de Janeiro, Hong Kong, Easter Island, and Yunnan. His work has appeared in AD Magazine, HP/De Tijd, and DUTCH, the Magazine, where he has explored cultural heritage, urban transformations, and the natural world. His in-depth travel features combine historical insight with a keen eye for storytelling.
